Left home at 2:45 today to head to Richmond. The Ruritans brought truckloads of gatorade, water and
health / food product last summer. They had me give a report during their business meeting on the progress
in Reading. Several references were made to Reading during the banquet. They had collected $850 in advance for the children's Christmas. Mark, from Hillsdale, stood up and challenged each delegate to match his $10 additional gift. A check for $1,220 will be gifted.
This is an organization just like the Lions Club and is full of towns and folks just like us. Princeton, Richmond, Baldwin City, Moran, Block, Uniontown, just to name a few. Nice, NICE people!
