An experienced, trained  certified counselor from outside of the Reading community is being brought to town to talk.  To just talk and help us work through all of the turmoil, frustrations, fear, depression, anxiety, sadness, etc that we are all feeling.

Make an appointment by emailing me the word NANCY.  I'll give you a time and a location to meet with her personally.

This is a wonderful gift by a certified counselor.  Come talk.

Community Update from the Public Square Envisioning last summer will be held
           WEDNESDAY, November 2

           UMethodist Church

You will see and hear updates from the Housing, Incubator, Communication and Park action teams.

KSU Park Visit

Due to an evaluation conflict in the architecture department, the visit to Reading has been moved
from Friday, Nov. 4 to MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7 around 3:15pm.

Students will be visiting to gain insight first hand into the lay of the park property and the business
district.

HALLOWEEN PARTY TONIGHT!

A Community Halloween party is being held uptown for all the ghoulies and ghosties tonight.
Hot dogs & chips in the UMethodist Church starting at 4:30 followed by games around the Miracle Cafe
and Trunk or Treating at 5:30.

COMMUNITY MOVIE NIGHT

The first Community night will be held this Friday from 7 to 9 in the school lunchroom.  Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for the indoor "drive-in" movie.  Mrs. Fort will have the popcorn.  Get a look at the newly remodeled gymnasium and just relax!

CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The Reading City Council will meet this Thursday, November 3, at 7pm in the Reading School cafeteria.
There will be a discussion on the bids for removal of 23 trees along with the other tornado projects.

COMMUNITY UPDATE

Public Square has planned a Community Update gathering at 7pm this Tuesday, November 1, at 7pm.
You are asked to come to the Miracle Cafe for some snacks and the latest information on action team happenings.
